I am the founder and Managing Director of CDP Leadership Consultants.
Prior to setting up CDP I was Managing Consultant and Head of Business Development for the UK and Europe at the global consultancy YSC.

- In-depth individual leadership audits for selection, promotion and development
- High performance executive and transitions coaching
- Team effectiveness interventions (including Board effectiveness)
- Organisation Development and cultural change support
- High level leadership and talent consultancy at CEO and HRD level
Before receiving my Masters in Psychology in 2004 I spent much of the 90s giving strategic communications and media counsel to numerous brands, senior business people and other leaders. Corporate and third sector brands and organisations I worked with over the last 20 years, prior to joining YSC, include:
My experience includes founding, running and developing organisations and companies in both the commercial and not-for-profit sectors, including the public affairs and PR consultancy Prima/GPC which was sold to Omnicon; the advertising agency Farm Communications which was sold to Cello, and the think tank Progress which I set up for Tony Blair after working for five years as chief aide to Peter Mandelson.
While an advertising agency partner we handled accounts for the Co-operative Bank, Heinz, BMW Smart cars and ivillage/Tesco. As a public affairs consultant I advised, among others, the Chairmen of Unilever and Glaxo and the boards of Salomon Brothers, British Gas and the Abbey National (now Santander). I have undertaken communications and media projects for the likes of Goldman Sachs, Pepsi, Powergen, BT and the BBC. I have also advised various celebrities on their “personal brand” and media profile and acted as confidential counsel in certain high profile crises. Drawing on my psychology training I have worked on some interesting branding projects, including ones for Proctor and Gamble (Persil) and Mercedes Benz. I have also carried out various pro-bono work assisting various charities including the YoungMinds and the Samaritans.
